Greeting from Nadjia and Maya:

We are excited to announce that our Second TORCH Event will be held this Saturday October 12, 2013 from 10 am-3 pmhere at the University of Maryland, College Park. TORCH Events are meant to spark and retain students' interest in the STEM field. During our first TORCH Event a few weeks ago, we had an amazing turn out and super fun activities.

This Saturday's event will consist of
1) Opening Session
2) A short lesson preceding an interactive project
3) Lunch
4) Afternoon activity/tour hosted by an organization on campus

If you are interested in attending this event, please go to the following link and register. Parents are welcome to attend the event but please note that
students have priority for food and activities.
